THD and Signal to Noise Ratings?

Hi again, I have decided on a Soundstream amp for my Dodge 4x4 Quad cab with Infinfity Kappa 60.7 CS 2 way component speakers. I am looking for quality sound. I may or may not add a sub.

My question is would it be worthwhile to pay a little extra for a better THD and Signal to Noise rating or will it not be noticeable in my truck? The two choices with similar power are below;

OR

http://cgi.ebay.com/SOUNDSTREAM-XTA...oQQcmdZViewItem

I can get the latter for $152 so the actual difference is about $27.

Your links didn't work for me.
Unless the numbers you're talking are singnificant, your ears won't be able to tell much difference.
For example, THD of .1% vs THD .01% will sound identical in a car. However, THD/SN/Slew Rate, Damping factor, PS, design quality and install all together will make a difference in SQ.
Therefore, don't get fooled by 1 or 2 numbers.

they're both soundstream, i don't think the difference is going to be that high. Just worry about damping factor more than 200. THD lower than 1% and Signal to noise ratio the higher-better

So this one;

SOUNDSTREAM TRA680.4
TARANTULA-SERIES

4 x 85W RMS @ 4 Ohms
4 x 170W RMS @ 2 Ohms
2 x 340W RMS @ 4 Ohms Bridged
T.H.D.: <0.02%
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: >115dB
Damping Factor: >500
Frequency Response: 10-50k
Input Sensitivity: 0.15V-12.0V
Crossover Slope: 18dB
Crossover Frequency: 50-5kHz
Dimensions: 10.75"x2.25"x20"
Variable hi pass, band pass, low pass
Variable 18dB bass boost
Double sided glass epoxy SMT circuit board
PWM mosfet power supply
Tri-guard amplifier protection
SMT cooling fan built in
Tri-mode capable
Line output

is better than this one;

SOUNDSTREAM XTA720.4

No. of Channels: 4
RMS @ 4 Ohms: 90W x 4
RMS @ 2 Ohms: 180W x 4
RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono: 360W x 2
T.H.D.: 0.05%
Freq. Response: 10 - 30k
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: >96dB
Damping Factor: >200
Input Sensitivity: 200mV
Crossover Slopes: 12dB
Subwoofer EQ: 0 - 18dB
Dimensions: 24.9"x12.4"x3"

Is it worth the extra $27 given the THD S/N and >500 damping?
