hey dear how are you?
I have found a JBL GTO 1200.1 amp, but have read that that amp puts out 1114 at 2 ohms at 14.4V, so how much would it be putting out at 12V?
Please help, should I buy tgat amp or not/??

drivingreckless had two of them and he told me they were underrated. IDK if they are but they should put more than 1000w rms at 2 ohms. They have 40x3A fuse. With 100% efficiency the jbl should put 1728w rms. Since no amp is 100% efficient calculating a 70% efficiency the amp should put 1200w rms.

I think you should go for it. BTW you need dual 2 ohm subs

that sucks if it doesnt do 1200 watts. if its does 1114 @ 14.4, then at 12 it would do around 1000

well there are different points of view. For aman 1k rms is enough. But some guys are very bass hungry. Those Type Rs ported are very good for a daily driver without the bass needs
