i was just sitting in the computer lab looking around ecoustics and some random kid comes up to me and gives me a Big Apple Music business card. anyway to make the long story short we were talking about subs and i told him that i didnt have much room to work with and i was looking at buying 2 RL-i 10s, we went on for about 10 minutes, and if anyone has ever talked to someone that works at big apple the only thing that they will try selling u is JL. any way he was trying to tell me a 10W1 will handle 300RMS daily. i didnt beleive him but i thought i would ask if anyone else does. thanks.

it can handle it. my neighbor has 12w1 and he is putting 400wrms on each. no problem. jl says warranty void if you do that but i don't see any problem.

i don't think those subs handle too much power. I have 2 12 w0 with 800w rms at 2 ohms and i've never cranked my volume cuz they start sounding bad in few seconds if you crank them. With their rated power, they're ok
