How do I adjust the sensitivity of the 508D proximity Sensor?

The Pro installer ( I use this loosely ) refused to spend much time tweaking the sensor. he also attached it with Velcro on the top of the center console over hanging the cup holder (tacky) saying it would increase the range. I should have taken care of this before I left the shop, but was off my meds at that point and needed to get home. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

What exactly are you trying to do it? If you are just trying to adjust the sensitivity of it, open the left of the 2 holes on the lower right of the unit, and adjust that for the warn sensitivity. Once you have the warn level where you want it, then adjust the setting on the right for the trigger level. You are looking for the warn level to be about 2-3 feet outside the windows and the trigger to be about 6 inches inside the windows. Hope it helps.
