I have been persuaded to change my entire setup in my car. I currently have Orion everything C(Components, Amp[Being Serviced right now], Subs etc. I want to go to a totally different brand but stay in a decent budget category. I know back in the day, Clarion used to be tha shiiiat, but does anybody know how they are doing nowadays? I want to get the DPX11500, it is 1 ohm stable, and claims 1500w rms. I was also impressed with their voltage ratings 10.5-16.5....Any feedback anyone???

i made a thread long time ago from that amp, and for the money it looks very good, is a class G/H, it puts the ratings at 14.4V and it has a 200A fuse(saw that on ebay, not sure). For me is a great buy. I didn't know it was one ohm stable, cuz the auction i saw said it was 2 ohm stable. If i were you, i'd go for it.

Thanx, I called them yesterday to verify that it was one ohm stable, and they said yes. I just can't believe that CLARION has an amp in that class with that much power for so low. I am kinda skeptical. I am going to buy it and let you all know if it's garbage or not.

I decided not to get the amp after all. 1500w rms.....A good amp with that much power should not be in the $200 neighborhood. I am too skeptical of the power rating that they claim. I would rather keep my MA HK401SX
