I'm planning on getting 2x kicker CVR 10 inch 4 ohms subs.. I was looking at getting two audiobahn A8002T for $150 a peice.

Is it possible to "bridge" or i guess run these amps together to power my two subs?

Eventually i'm going to need help with wiring these two

no, not if those are the dual 4, you need a dual 2 sub if your going to run 1 amp per sub

ty, if they are dual 4 ohm and he bridges the bahn, then he could power them properly.

don't run them together, just get one a80002t and bridge it

Is the a8000T the same thing you're talking about?

What's the difference between dual 2 and dual 4? Is there that much of a difference?

Lastly, what should i be looking for when searching for an amp to power both of them.. I though i was supposed to go by total watts but i don't think i am anymore

Thanks, i appreciate it

a8002t (2 channel)

400 rms @ 2 ohms
800 bridged at 4

a8000t (mono amp)

400 @ 4 ohms
800 @ 2 ohms

dual 2 and dual 4, just changes the way you can wire the subs. www.the12volt.com -- then go to woofer wiring to see the diff configurations.

because if you put a load on the amp that it cannot handle, it will dry ur amp :-(

total watts usualy means MAX watts by what the manufactures say. never go by they MAX watts, you basically just want to match the subs RMS #'s with the amps RMS output.

so since you have 2 10's dual 4 -- get the a8002t amp, and run it bridged. :-) then ur good to go

bridged is when you combine 2 channels into 1, meaning double the output power. on the amps channels, there will be a + and - marked "bridged" on that amp, so you just hook the speaker wires into that + and -, and then wire the sub as normal :-)

ebay.com
onlinecarstereo.com

better off to find a a8002v (their newest model)

and make sure you got "dual voice coils" on the subs

Julio, he wanted to put 1 on each sub like origianl post sated.if your running 1 amp then use the 8002, if your running 1 amp per sub dual 4 ohm use 8000v per sub, or use dual 2 ohm subs and use the 8002 amps. that what you originally posted 1 amp per sub.
