Hello, I bought my car used about a year ago. It recently had a major servicing and the alarm turned itself back on (it was in valet mode before).
The remotes barely have battery life left and I would like to know if opening a remote and switching the battery will cause it to lose it's saved code. I cannot reprogram the remote as I don't know where the valet switch is.
Can anyone tell me if I can enter valet mode without the valet button? I have tried the I II I combo, but it just arms and disarms.
If not, can anyone suggest where the valet button is located? Is it mandatory that the car has one? or could the installed have just not put one in?
