hey i'am thinking about replacing my kenwood deck with 2volt pre outs. i was thinking about the Pioneer DEH-P8500MP would this be a good deck. preformance wise and looks any feedback would be apperciated!!!! Thanks}
It's not a bad deck, but what led you to the 8500? It's an older deck and you can probably do better for the money depending on where you're buying from. If you give us a budget to work with and any other specifics you're looking for we might be able to give you some other options.
As far as perfromance, it's definately a decent deck and you'd probably be happy with it if you're moving up from an older Kenwood, but like I said I'm not sure it's the best option. If anything, I'd look into tracking down the Premier version (DEH-P580mp). And if you want my opinion, motorized faces are ugly and just one more thing to potentially fail or break on the deck.
