Hi i have sony amp(puts out 2*100rms 2ohm). When i conected my component speakers sony xs-ht170sn(60rms 4ohm per speaker) the tweeters blew, getting them fixed now. I was wondering is it to much power for them or is it just the brand name? If its to much power will it be better to get same set of speakers and use two per one chanel?
Hmm, a Lithuanian guy Well, Sony = sh:t Anyway, that Sony amp should be putting out about half of the 100w per side because it would see a 4ohm load with those spkrs. Two sh:tty sets < one good set
