On my alpine X 10 its got a pin/clip thing that you can pull out and it says parallel right next to it. I've heard stuff about running a speaker parallel but what does it mean? And should i do it? It's got 2 of them 1 for each voice coil.

depends on your amp, and coil ohms. Is it a duel voice coil sub?
Try giving some more info. Amp model, sub model, VC config. It will help get a responce. OK?
