I have two Diamond Audio M3081.8 8" DVC woofers in a sealed box with 0.5cf each. The woofers are 4 ohm DVC.
The amp I will be using to power these is an Audiobahn A8002T (400x2 @ 2ohm stereo, 800x1 mono @ 4ohm).
I understand these woofers are rated at 125w RMS each. I'm concerned about overpowering these with the Audiobahn amp and the woofers wired to 2-ohm stereo. Would I be better off wiring for 8-ohm stereo? Which is the best configuration?
The enclosure needs to fit behind the rear seat in a crew cab truck. No room for 10" woofers, the depth of the woofer can only be just over 4". Plus the enclosure size is only 0.5cf per side.
I'm not looking for anything outrageous (if I was I wouldn't have bought a truck), but anything over stock would definately be a welcome addition.
