Part of the basket was broken as shown in the picture but was repaired. It is in full working order. It was being pushed with a Recoil 1000.1 (1000rms @ 1 ohm). This sub drops the lows better than my RE SX 15" but it does not quite get as loud. The box has a lot of screws but is built well. All joints are gorilla glued and the entire inside of the box is fiberglass resined. The tuning frequency is high due to the box being built for SPL. It can be re-tuned by extending the port, making an L at the end of the port would do so as well as doing a butt connection to the piece that is in there now. You could also use 3" rough/aero ports by covered the port with another baffle and just adding your new ports where the old one was. If your looking for refs you can talk to Polo or Marshall. Both have purchased items from me before.      |

The last time i checked an ebay listing for the LVS it was 1g but I'm not nearly looking for that seeing its shape. It works fine and I hate to sell it due to the basket missing a piece as you saw in the photo.. even though I fixed it.. it may come loose sometime in the future. If it were sealed in the box with caulking or silicone I don't see a problem. That sub got pretty loud considering it was only being run off 1000rms. It drops the lows like you would not believe but my SX seems to get louder. I have no metered it but I'm sure it would at least do 140s. Far as how much it is worth.. just shoot me an offer. I don't expect more than $200 for sub/box considering,.. if that helps |

This amp is rated for 1000x1 rms @ 12.6volts @ 1ohm .. I bought it from Audio Plus and they said it was benched for 1160rms. Of course with higher voltage it will produce more power.. |

Gold Member Username: Extrmndor3Life is GOOD, Ill Us Post Number: 2445 Registered: Feb-06 | eric the alpine monitor is the one that make the sound, i took the front rca's front the cda-9855 and took them to cd player auxiliary input 1 then the monitor have 3 sets of 4 volt preamp outputs wiht crossovers and mediaexpander,bass engine that runs to my sub amp and the front and rear is going to my phoenix gold octane r 4 channel amp ( in the middle of the fronts its a bass maxx to make my components sound like 10's). i was thinking of getting the ai net cable so my alpine monitor will control my cda-9855 and i will not use rca's from the cda-9855 to the in dash monitor. supposedly i will have more sq but whit the bassmaxx and my front/rear set up its enough sq and i cant believe there will be more sq. |

Gold Member Username: Extrmndor3Life is GOOD, Ill Us Post Number: 2447 Registered: Feb-06 | if u already have a cd player u can make a double din set up like i did, take the front rca's of your cd player and put them on cd player aux input on in dash monitor then select media expander and tweak the sound using bass engine and it will sound so much better and will provide you whit 4 volts rms preamp outputs for front/rear/sub and u can use the built in crossovers and the dsp of the monitor. but if u already have a alpine head unit juzz get a 10 ai-net cable and connect to the monitor and the monitor will be your primary or only receiver because it will control everything on your alpine receiver it even display names, artist info and etc. plus u can get a navigation on eBay for around 150 on eBay since the alpine monitor has a dedicated navigation input. oh and by the way the unit its 2 zone capable. |
