ok i got the Profile AP2000 amp and a eclipse cd5415 for my Cd player thats 5V preouts and my amp said it was 2.0 to 7V Inputsignal Votage... my q. was where sould i put my gain at? i don't have a DMM or anything like that so please help thanks!
well this is what you do turn the volume up to 3/4's total volume(ie 25/30volume) then you have your gain at zero, then slowly turn it up untill you hear distortion, then turn it down a little bit, but my guess is it would be around half way up, but thats just a guess.
probably cuz im underpowering it ALOT
