Yeah, I have no talent at all and I built my box :D. Its coming together btw, will work on it more tomarrow. DIY its a pain in the a$s but its fun, also, doesn't he need furniture clamps? Those things will run you some $.

nah.. the only purpose for clamps is to hold the joints tight until the glue sets.. but if you mount screws every 4 inches there is no need for the clamps.

furniture clamps???
wut are those???
and why would u need them bro
screws hold the wood together while the glue(liquid nails) dries...no need for clamps!

Well IMO, with "my" box, that big asz box that I made, I needed furniture clamps, mainly since I wanted a real tight hold between the two woods, also I needed them to straighted out my box.

alright,

it is about:
37" wide
19.5 high
34" deep
trunk opening is about 40" wide X 15" high

if i tried to slide it in through my back seat then it would be(would that be easier than to just jam it in through the back of the car?):

33" wide
16" high
40" deep

I've never used clamps :-) .. gorilla glue with screws every 4 inches work great.. i've never blew a box apart of even had a leak. only time i would clamp is for a sealed enclosure with some subs that really move air :-)

40 wide x 18 tall x 27.75 deep

I think that is the biggest I can go with, I measured my trunk and it is exactly 40 inches wide and 19 tall. So that is like as big as I can get.
