For something good and PIMP you need minimum $500(this is with amp and set of speakers)!

i have subs an amp im just focused on getting a HU right now... i have a credit card but i dont have too much too spend i was looking for some sugestions on just the HU... something good but not too expensive what brands? models? what features to look for?

pioneer premiers are always good, u can get the 680 for a little over 200 and is pretty good, i hate it i just think its a little confusing

cronic is just being a post wh*re who gives no good advice. if you got $150 to spend i would go check out ebay and look for either eclipse or pioneer premier, well there are other brands that make good stuff im just saying those two because they are popular and really have some of the better quality HU right now. eclipses lowest line are kinda cheap but you could always get an older model of either. its old and cant be sold for as much but is still good u know. do some research look at all the HU's you like see the prices then keep an eye out on ebay if your patient you will find what you are lookin for

refurbs ar fine, especially the pioneer or panasonic, they are actually refurbed buy them and not some outside company.
