Hey ya all, So Pioneer released a 2nd gen low pro sub and I had to try it! Some of you will remember the pic I took of the first sub a year ago. The new one is the same size so the install took all of 5 mins.

The 1st gen played better at low volume but when you applied to much juice it became very unlinear and sounded funky.

The 2nd gen has fixed the high power issue but does not preduce the floods of bass at very low volume levels. It does have a much tighter hard hitting sound then the gen 1 did.

If had to pick between the two, I'd say the 2nd gen is better(but does need more power then the 1st gen).

Thanks, I like the lowpro stuff. When I go camping and it rains to hard, I can still sleep in the rig.

It does but it can only be heard if there a bass only passage, if music is playing it sounds great.

The trim piece makes the noise. I'm going to fill it with silicon some day.
