i actually heard those and they aren't that bad. if i had a truck and couldn't get a regular sub to fit i'd get those. elemental design and jl also makes them, and i think arc audio. probably more companies but since i don't buy them not really know any others.

the first is a 10" and the second is 12". the one i heard didn't sound to bad, not the best though. i think they have better sq than the regular pioneer subs from what little i got to hear of it. listened to it beside a truck with a w3, about the same output just not as good sq. i think they were 10"s' if i remember correctly.

i wouldn't mix subs, wouldn't sound right. stick with the cvx's, they'll be plenty loud in a truck.

Best way to fit big subs in your truck is to make a fiberglass box. Thats what I did.

My brother has a 12" of that sub and it sounds pretty good for how shallow it is. he has it hooked up to a e1200 amp that he got off ebay for $75. its in his 89 toyota single cab pickup. he had to make a custom box but he has the pioneer and a 6"sub in there don't sound that bad for how cheap it was

That Boston is not a sub! its a Radiator!

If Boston made a shallow sub, I have one!

As far as the Pie go's, This second gen sub sounds really good! much better than the first gen that i removed.

what the hell is a radiator. I thought that was part of the car not a woofer

As far as I know a radiators came out in the early 70's. The concept was to move 50% more air with only one woofer.
It looks like Boston took it a step further and added a way to tune the rad to better match the woofer?

If Boston is selling them, they must work ok?
