All Riiiiiiight I am looking to build a box for a 10" RE re series sub (buying tomorrow). The sub will be for a hatchback and will be getting a sweet 200rms. I would like a ported box tuned low for some decent SPL (or as much as I can get from a single 10" with 200rms..within a reasonable size)

Anyone care to help me with some box designs please? all I need are some specs I can build

thanks!

wicked, I always get consfused with specs as some people write the numbers down differently...did you used LxWxH ?

Any way you could whip up somthing with a regular slot design port? I have never actually made a box with aero ports. And the thign with aero ports is that they stick out so freaken far I would rather have a flush style box.....

thanks for the help man, much appreciated

Also what do you figure a sub and box like this could hit with 200rm? (I've never had under 600rms, or less than 2 12"s...so I have no idea)

thanks for the help!

try this:

11.5" x 25.5" x 17.5" (external)

Have the subs and port on the 11.5" panel...Make the port 10" x 2"....21" long.

The cuts for the port will be (1) 10" x 14" and (1) 10" x 5.5". The port will make an L in the box and tune to 35hz.

The box will be 1.75cuft after all displacments.

w/ ~200w on those RE re10's, you will prolly be in the low-ish 130dB range...(131-135dB)

try this:

11" x 13.25" x 24.25"

the cuts for the port will be:
(1) 10.25" x 9.5"
(1) 14.75" x 9.5"

port opening will be 9.5" x 1.5"....you will have 1cuft tuned to 35hz w/ 14.25sq inches of port.
