That soundstream is not one of there better lines. I still feel the Tarantula Series are good but I'd pass on there low end stuff. Have you looked at the CrossFire VR2000D? I know its not rated at the power you want but it gets close to 3000watts RMS. And the CF amps are well received in the SPL world. |

The orion has better quality and can be wired to 0.5 ohm The soundstream will put more power at 1 ohm, around 3600w... with good quality. IDK if the amp runs at 0.5 ohm. Check IA 20.1 |

Silver Member Username: Impala63ragPost Number: 126 Registered: Sep-06 | well money is an object, but i can drop 600-1000 on a good amp. the ss and orion are the same price3 (600). the amp will be running at 1ohm. 2x4ohm dvc. im going to the db world finals today, so there might be a used big boy amp there. i've got a 1000 on me. does the ss push a true 3500rms, or is it over-rated? |

That's just a design, not the same materials RE has the same board of audiopipe. Lanzar optidrive has the same board of soundstream XXX6500d (awesome amp). And matt, that model you stated might put those watts,.. Impala enjoy it, that's a good amp |
