Are Audioque SD2.5 subs better in sealed enslosures or ported? I have two of these in 12 inches. Thanks in advance.

depends on what your looking for..

if you want a flat response with more sq and less spl .. go sealed.

if you have the room and like boomy bass thats more of an sql setup .. go ported

Alright thanks I was thinking of sealed only because I don't have much room in my trunk. Do you know the approximate dimensions (ex: 30in x 16in x 16in) for a box that holds both of my subs with separated chambers? I am going to use 3/4" MDF. Thanks

14x30x12 should be fine.. after displacement of the subs and seperator your looking at roughly 2.6cu.ft.. 1.3cu.ft per sub

13x28x12 would put you at about 2.2 .. so 1.1cu.per chamber

not much i can do for you unless i knew your max dimensions..

whoops.. lol.. glad you asked that. that was internal my bad

external- 14x30x12 would put you about 1cu.ft per chamber after displacement

external- 14z30x14 would put you at about 1.25cu.ft after displacement

Alright cool. Thanks for your help. I have only built about four subwoofer boxes before but I have been in the carpenter industry for quite a while now. I must say I am a novice when it comes to car audio so I thank you for your help. I should do fine with building the enclosure myself. Thank you
