You guys realize you need to test your connection from a server based within the same area code as you (within 50 miles), right?

The numbers will be slightly, if not more, off than if you test with a server based in your area.. and every internet provider that rents/sells DSL/Cable internet will have a speed test based in your area.

Am i just really close to the server then? is that why mine is so much faster than everyone else that posted?

Not sure, without going in and checking your actual connection..

..but if you have DSL, that can happen.. never seen those kind of numbers before, though.

And kenny... you prolly refreshed tha page and it ran off the cache... more then likloy that is the case, if not its a glitch. You more then likly are only running on a 100MB\s LAN network meaning the most bandwidth your network can take is 100MBs, unless you have 1000MB\s (gig interfaces) which is more highley unlikly in a home network.
