Hey I was just wondering what the minimum RMS wattage on an amp should be if I am running two subs hooked up in one enclosure to one terminal (one positive and negative outlet). Each sub has 300 rms. Thanks

well i assume the voice coils on the subwoofers are being read as a 2ohm load which would be each subwoofer is a 4ohm single voice coil or 2ohm dual voice coil. however if the terminal is reading a 2 ohm load then you need an amp that does 600 watts rms at 2ohms.

How much do you have to spend on an amp????

puts like 750 and its ok to over power a little. those subs can take it.

Subs are like speakers match thier RMS up, or over power a bit im sure the 300rms would handle 350 even 400rms without any trouble, and less stress on the amplifier!

No problems, I dont know anyone who underpowers ther subs, only overpowers. Youd be safe with an 800rms amp, as the amp will not just give out 800rms when turned on, that is the amount of watts that the amp can give when turned up (alot) under normal circmstances so when your music is loud that amp should give out at LEAST 800rms and not fall below it, given your charging system can withstand it.... (as far as I know this is mostly true)
