Review on the HD3...

Silver Member Username: Sb2012Iowa US Post Number: 316 Registered: Jul-06 | well here's review #1 on the HD i finally got my 12" HD friday..it came in a DD box ...shipping weight was 47lbs...its one sexy beast the suspension on it is very stiff so it will need to be broken in well...but anyways this is what ive noticed after 5 days of breaking it in... i installed it in a pontiac sunfire...and Its in a 2.5 cubic feet box tuned 36Hz...Im powering it with a Hifonics BXi1606D @1ohm so about 1400-1500 watts rms... Let me tell ya im impressed...all i can really say is wow It hits the lows well, and the overall sq is better than i expected...it absolutely sounds amazing...i would definitely consider it more of an sql sub a guy around here had a solo x running on 2k and the HD3 r@pes it in spl... im not sure if theres many subs out there that can out perform the HD for the price $365 shipped |
