i havent seen many threads on 10's.

im planning on gettin 2 10's. whats the best 10' sub regardless of price.

so whats the best 10' SQL sub?

eithere way about 700+ for the pair of subs, grand or more for amps, couple hundred for an alt, maybe a few batteries, lots of wire a box, good way to spend a couple grand

they come in 10's... u gonna need LOTS of POWER! ever heard of a ten that can take 4000 watts no prob? in the right app it'll take it daily! lol. BRING IT! LOL (BTL that is...)

your right bass monkey, make that 2K or more for amps, probably after everything is all said and done you will be in $4-$5K range

sq is mainly to sound good, and sql is to sound good and get loud.

You cant do the btl as sql lol. The HD3.... now you're getting into sql. I personally would do 2 10" Treo TSX's on a Zapco 1100.1 amp and try not to tinkle yourself. Make sure you get a good component amp to keep up with the bass.

Most SQ subs are a mix of both SQ and SQL like the ID max, Boston G5, diamond , JL w6v2, and Focal. In small sealed enclsoures they all sound very nice but it ported enclsodures they have the ability to get quite loud.
