Just purchased two 12" rockford P3's. These run 1000 watt peak, 500 rms each. What kind and how many watt amp should i use to run these nicely not spending a lot of money.

i would use this one on this site take a look this one should give to more then enough power. run them @2ohms and you shouldn't have any problems. if you need a diagram let me know i have one that will show you what you need to do.

here you go it is the second one under the big white diagram you just want to tie your subs together so you only have one power wire and one ground wire running to your amp giving you a 2 ohm load but the subs must be 4 ohm subs. just keep that in mind too.

should the two wires running to the amp be bridged?

Go with a two channel Rockford 1000watt AMP. Stick with RF they are nice. Also great subs!

no i would not bridge them. because that amp is bridgable @ 4 ohms not 2 ohms.
