depends on how many bands you want. most CD players with built in EQ's have between 5 and 16 bands. seperate EQ's have up to 32 bands. Audiocontrol makes some good stuff, not sure on prices though.

i wouldn't go with PA for anything. or any other cheap brand like that. spend your money wisely and do it right the first time.

look at Audiocontrol, Zapco, i think Arc Audio, Eclipse and Kicker.

Eclipse makes the 21010 which bosts 8v preouts, a 6 band EQ and a really nice, detailed sub control :-) I almost bought one but the bidding went higher than I wanted to pay. I believe it's run with one RCA input and 3 sets of outputs rated @ 8v. But you need to make sure your amp(s) can handle 8v inputs

8V Eclipse is nice, but 16V Zapco is better :-)

I see it :P

It's 16v Max, 9v RMS.. pretty dang sweet!

It looks like it's just a line driver, though.. boosts the outputs on a deck from xx to 9v RMS.

i'm using the SLDIN.T-F Transmitter, not one of thoes add on units. totally different. it balances and boosts the Pre Out Voltage by 6 or 12dB constant.

night and day difference!
