I have this box and wondering if i should port it

LIke sh!t, not that great to begin with. I had the same one with three R2, 12's on 1300rms it sounded good and loud but not as good as the single ported 15 I have now. Remember, the chambers are uneven in volume so you would have a difficult time tuning. I myself made cutouts in the baffles to make a single large chamber, then I syuffed it with poly, it sounded much better. Polo..

you can not just port a sealed box, the specs for sealed and vented enclosures are differnet for airspace required

rick, what ty is sayin is that a sub my call for 1.5^ft sealed and 2.0^ft ported...it wouldnt b the same
