i have two 12" memphis power references in a sealed box. i have a cheap 1200 watt amp but it pushes them and the gain isnt all the way up!(i know it isnt a volume knob.lol) Since i think the amp can take one more i was going to buy one more and put all three in a sealed enclosure for 3 12"s..will it make a noticable difference/is it worth it??

it all depends. If you can lower the impedence to gain more power then there should be a noticable gain. For instance say you had 800 watts going to 2 and you wire it to get 1200 watts to 3 then you will notice a nice gain, but if you take power from the 2 to add the third( ex-2 subs getting 600 before and now 3 subs getting 400) IMO wouldnt be worth it for you. the added sub would gain roughly 3 db's but you would lose some due to less power/sub.
