Amp is on when car is off, ground?

Bronze Member Username: Andrew571Stillwater/Edmond, Oklahoma USA Post Number: 60 Registered: Oct-05 | My amp has been acting up recently, i've had it for ten months, workt perfectly since day 1. its a KAC-9152D last week it randomly cut off in the middle of a song...i fiddled around with it and reattatched the remote wire and everything was fine again, now about 3 days later it happened again, this time the amp only works if the car hasnt been started yet... I am guessing it has something to do with my ground, im about to go out and try a new ground location, i dunno, this is weird how it would decide to stop working for the first time in almost a year. any suggestions besides get a new amp, i already plan on getting a new system. thanks |

Bronze Member Username: Andrew571Stillwater/Edmond, Oklahoma USA Post Number: 62 Registered: Oct-05 | UPDATE: i did the 'run a wire from the power input on amp to my remote input' on my amp, and the amp turns on, then the power fades away, because the light on the amp is really bright right when i touch the wires, but it quickly fades away in about 5 seconds... is my kenwood amp bumping time over with? lol i was hoping it would last until my new system or better yet just so i could rip some kid off at my old highschool :[ anyone have an idea? |
