when i tell people about the subwoofers i am going to get i dont know how to pronounce them... i just tell them they are spelled "F I Q's", haha...

Oh boy... yes the pronunciation. I know Im going to catch cr@p at the finals booth for this one as the booth I have made has multiple "Fi" logos on it so Im sure it will be know as the "FiFi" booth...lol
Just like Hi-Fi it is simply shortened from there to "f-eye". Then to make sure you dont do the Freudian slip... put the size before the series name... Fi 12 Q. You wont be misunderstood that way and get punched ;)
Or make it as long winded as possible with "The 12 inch Q series manufactured by the company former owner of another company now known as 'Fi' ".
