I am upgrading my subs and need some advice on which brand to get. I have like $2k to spend on subs and amps. I need sumthin that will blow my trunk off!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe a pair of RE's, let me know what you think are some good brands

RE? mind as well switch to Fi now since he's was the former owner of RE. You got some good options out there. So I'm guessing you either want spl or sql right?

each sub is 1.4 Ohms/coil and 1000 watts rms

lol yea its goin in a 01 buick century, it has a little more trunk space than most average cars. i dont know the exact measurements tho

I still doubt there is enough room for 2 18"s back there.. keep in mind that 2k is not going just for subs and an amp as you think.. you have to do al electrical upgrade and good wiring.. Might as well drop that 2k by an easy $500 for good electrical upgrades.. I'd get two FI BTLs and a good 4000rms to power them.. you should manage that with your budget.. that is if you build your own box

check out an AudioQue HD3 also they will easily take 2K watts and they are cheaper than the BTL's i think

get a pair of BTL's and wall it up in your ride. i will guarantee you it will get loud.

ok yea i will pm him, so you guys dont think 2 q18's will fit in my trunk? is the rms really 1000 watts on those?

the 18's need 8-10 cuft per sub so it would be really hard to fit them in there
