Ok well i've had a look around at some sites and for the money i have narrowed it down to 5 subs, which one of these subs is the best?? I am looking for a mixture of SPL and SQ. I listen to rap and R&B

Alpine Type-S SWS-1242D

Kenwood KFC-W3514 DVC

Kenwood KFC-XW1202 DVC

Pioneer TS-W306C

Ok well i've decided to get the 12" Type-R. Whats the frequancy response difference mean. The Type-S Was 28-1000 Hz And the Type-R was 32-500 Hz Or something like that. Wats that mean?? Wat is better in the way of that

Frequency response is what notes they can play. The lower the frequency the deeper the sound. 32-500 Hz should be alright, since your highs should be able to take care of anything above 200 Hz no problem. Your amp probably has a low pass crossover at about 150 Hz anyways, meaning it won't even put out frequencies above 150 Hz to the subs.

Type r is pretty much the best out of those
