dose any one know of some sights that i could check out how to recone and repair subs????? i got 2 messed up type-r's that i wanna take apart and see what i can do with them. if i mess em up more o well thanks fer the help and feel free to add any advice u have

I'd like to know how to re-coil a 15" type r!

bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ya im pretty sure at least one of them needs to be reconed and re coiled but i just thaught it would be a fun project

someone posted a link to a video on here that showed them makin a sub. I guess it would be sum kinda help for u if you could find it. Jus do a search, it was sumthin bout loudspeaker production.

alpine doesn't offer recones. if you don't have a warranty you'll have to pay prob as much as it would cost to replace the sub at ebay price to have alpine repair it.
