- I have a P3001 (2 ohm) amp and a 4 ohm P2 12" subwoofer. Where i hook up my speaker wires on amp there is two channels... + - + -. How do i wire the sub, can i just use the left side posite negaative?????, hw would i wire this up?
You have a mono amp. It has two terminals just for the conveinence. The two terminals are wired in parallel on the inside of the amp. I hope that is a DVC sub, otherwise you are not going to get much power out of that amp @ 4 ohms.
