I have a Rockford Fosgate p-3001 300 watt amp and am interested in buying two JL audio 12w0 4omh subs that have 150RMS each. Would these subs sound good with this amp or could the amp power both of the subs? I know pretty much nothing about this stuff so if this is a stupid question then sorry. Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing that your JLw0 4ohm is a single voice coil? as in only one set of connecters on one subwoofer. If so, you can only connect 1 subwoofer to the amp to get the most power out of it. Connecting both you would create a 2ohm load and use up about 200-250rms of its power. Thats just an educated guess but its most likely.

if they are single 4 ohm use both to get a 2 ohm load. it would be ok with those subs, they do not need a ton of power...
