so is that you don't really have a budget but want to keep it cheap or don't really have a budget and have plenty to spend??

are we talking coaxials or components, HU power or Amp power...

$300, $500, $700, $1000....

I dont have a budget and have plenty to spend, I just want it to sound crisp and clear and able to be very loud. I dont really know what the difference is betwen coaxials or components, which do you think is better?

well if you are going to power the speakers with plenty of power, like 75 to 200 Watts RMS, then components will take full advantage of the power and give you the best results.

if just using HU power, coaxials are best because components need more power.

the difference is coaxials have the tweeter mounted on a pole in the center of the woofer with a simple capacitor as a crossover. they are basically stock replacements, not really giving you that much increase in SQ.

components have a seperate woofer and tweeter with a higher quality external passive crossover. larger and higher quality components means they will handle more power and usually there will be a coupld options for adjustment on the crossovers. and having the drivers seperate gives you more flexability on how and where you can install them to give you the best results.

cons for components are just that they require a little more in the install because you have more to find room for.

4 or 6 speakers?

I believe its 5.25 up front and 6x9 in the rear.

First you need an amp to run atleast the fronts. Rears can be run off deck power.

I don't know the depth of the doors but HD-52 in the front with an amp that puts out like 150x2rms would be good and Kenwood Excelon 6x9 in the rear.
