I jsut got my re sx 15 today. Its a dual 2 ohm. I wired it up @ 4 ohms on my kicker zx1000, and lol, it was as loud, or louder, as my treo ssi 15 dual 4 ohm wired @ 2 ohms......

Re SX is a loudddd sub.

considering ssi is more of an sq sub and the sx is leaned towards spl more then sq i would sure hope tht the sx is louder:\

Idk why people doubt the SX's SQ... in the right setup the SQ is a lot more than people can credit them.. ask anyone who has owned one :-)..

even Chad will brag about his 18" lol

muddy, so far the sq sounded ok on some songs compared to ssi, and other songs it sounded just as good. I only listened to like 5 songs (30sec each) though, then had to come home.I am reallllly likin this sub.

How much are RE SX's? What is the recommended ported enclosures? I'm honestly thinking of pulling my Ti's out and slapping a set of SX's in there...

you can probably get a 12 in SX for $250-300. For a 12 inch the recomended enclosure is 1.9 @ 32 hz "i think". But it works well in 2.5 @ 32 hz.

They have all this on thier website www.reaudio.com

I'm starting to wonder if it would be a good upgrade. I'm gonna have to go out and measure my current box and see. What do you guys think? Would it be worth changing out my Eclipse Titaniums and putting in a pair of SXs and another Orion 2500D?

I know they are. I'm just wondering if it's worth getting the extra amp and other electrical upgrades to put them in my current setup...
