you want a wall for 4 subs right?

fire them all forward with one huge port up and down the center. match the box carpet with the interior of your car. if its leather interior then use leather to cover your box. (you can use vinyl).

I am doing a square pattern like muddy mentioned and facing them towards the front seats. Im going to try and do around 300-350 inches of port and the box i have designed right now is ~18.25cuft before all displacement (44W,36H,23D).

Chad im not going to carpet the box at all. its just going to be for comps/fun.

TUNING! 44hz as of right now. but im not sure. my goal is to have it between 15.5-16cubes after displacement, which should be easy.

bracing???

first off, build a frame in your vehicle out of 2x4's. Then put a layer of MDF on the inside of the frame...2 would be better.

For the baffle, use 2-4 layers of MDF and brace front to back w/ at least 1/2" threaded rod. Subs stacked in a square pattern on the passenger side would be Ok....but put the port on the drivers side from the floor to ceiling.

That will get you started.

^^ I've seen a lot of designs where the back of the box on the subs side angled towards the end of the port.. like a slanted box but with the slant towards the port. Its a lot of work.. wish I had the time and another vehicle to do it.. Although if I could come across a van for cheap cheao I'd make a 4th order bandpass and throw in my SX.. Btw Marshall. did you ever meter your SX in the port??

.. forward on the passanger side with port on the drivers side.. thats the design I've seen well in comps.. i agree with marshall .. there is a local van out here with that setup that does 161+ on the TL
