Well I am just itching on doing a single 18' sub ported set up in my Integra Hatchback. I currently have a box that is 5 net cubes for my 2 12's . I think the biggest box that I could fit there would be 5.5 net cubes. I'm wondering are there any 18's sub that would do good in 5.5 net cubes ported in the low 30's with 1200 rms. My budget is $400. The biggest dimenions I could get inside my trunk are 32 W ,15H , and 33 Lenght( Gotta re-check that though. I'm open for any suggestions , thanks.

Well those dimensions would give you 7.2cubes gross.

I think 5.5 cubes is too small for a 18" ported box. If you can get 7.2 cubes like Kebo said I would go with an Fi Q 18" only $310 shipped.

Thats just me tho, cuz I bought one so of course I would suggest that =) hehe

I just finish checking my my dimensions and Got 6.791 of Internal volume. I'm going to write to scott and see if the Q would work good with this mininum space. I could do a 15' Kevin but that would be downsizing from my 2 12's type R's in a 5 net cube box. I want something that has same or a little bit more output than the R's and at the same time has better Sq that's why the Q 18' attracts me (Not to mention the price ). I wouldnt mind trying out those SSD drivers in 12's but the problem is that they dont come in 4 ohm so I wouldnt be able to use 2 of those because my amp isnt .5ohm stable.

well.....you could go sealed......*shrugs*

the only way you are going to get louder is with more 2 bigger subs(i mean power wise) than the R's.....b/c you can't fit much more.:-(
