you could get a new fi q 15" for $280 or a q 18" for $310, shipped. never heard them, but from reading reviews they've been getting they might be what you're looking for. and if you get one you could give us all a review on it:-)

a 15" arsenal will sound better. don't know if it'll be louder, but it would also be a really good sub. only $250 brand new.

My bad.. did not think before I posted that..

eD Nine.1
Orion 2500d
Hifonics 1606d
Kicker 1200.1
BP 1200.1

...and so on

But yea.. depends on the coil config for your sub

scott, the owner of fi, told me to give a 12" q 750-1200wrms. don't know about the 15", but the site says the same rms for both sizes. email him, he's real fast to answer any questions at all you might have. but if it's the same rms you could get a nine.1. probably get a nine.1 for the 12" here soon and scott told me it'd work fine together.

depends on the amp. if running at 2ohms, get the dvc 1, if 1ohm get dvc 2. if $300 is all you got i'd check ebay, or the arsenal i suggested before.

nine.1 (dvc 1ohm sub)
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=90&products_id=352

kicker 1200.1 (dvc 2ohm)
http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1570443/vpcsid/0 /SFV/30046

i'd check with scott on how much power to give it though before getting the kicker, birthsheet with mine says 1490w at 1ohm.
