Wondering the best place to get box carpet. And how much would I need to a single 10inch box sealed.

I see crutchfield has some for 30bucks. I don't know should I just go with that seeing I need to get a couple things from there.

Also where should I get the speaker terminal for the sub? Crutchfield again?

I disagree^^ If you've ever used the cheap sh!t from autozone you'll understand. its like 5yds for $10 and its rediculously thin, you can see thru it when u pull on the sides.

not really. bcae1.com has a section on box carpeting. i have been learning myself :-)

and carpet is not capret, usually the cheaper stuff is thick and not very flexible meaning its hard to get around the edgesof the box. Good quality carpet is thick but its very flexible. just go to ur local cau audio shop, it will be cheaper than buyin onine.

lol. yes, if you can see throgh it, its not carpet. but the flexibility of the carpet is very very important. and chaper carpet has barely any flexibility. i have touches and bent 3 diff carpets for boxes in the last three days. and two of them you couldnt use, because they were not flexible

i have 2 disagree on carpet is carpet

available locally where im from we get 2 kinds of box carpet - 1 type has rather compact fibres & is a lil bit more stiifer , other type the fibres r a bit more loose/furry , the furry kind obviously has a different texture BUT the biggest problem with it is that it soaks up more contact cement when u apply it but it is also a bit more stretchy than the other type - i prefer the more compact lil bit more stiffer carpet , but either works just as fine tho .......just my 2cents here ...
