alrite this guy my friend knows is supopsedly gonna "hook me up" with a great price. hes gonna build me a custom box for my 12"w6, install my w6, install the amp, install my headunit and hook everything up.
charging me $250 for all this. sounded like a decent deal to me. just wanted peoples opinions on how much hes actauuly "hooking me up"

you could save 200$ just to do it your self, unless he has wiringing and stuff....but you could stil prolly save 100$ if you just did it your self....

That's a decent price, I'd talk him down to $200, though. I mean, you have to remember he has to buy the materials for the box so he'd be getting about what, $140 of that($200). Sounds fair for a few hours work.

he has all the wiring stuff at his shop, im bring him my HU, amp, and sub and hes doing everything.

also i have another question.
my stock HU is a double DIN, the HU im getting is single DIN, i need to get a "dash kit" (if thats what its even called) for underneath it to cover the area left below my new HU.
anyone know where i could find one?
