I need some good SQ subs that can I can also pound the crap out of.. I'm going to sell my Eclipse 88150.4's and am looking for replacements.
Will consider all sizes but must perform perfect at either approx. 1000wrms@1ohm or 700wrms@2ohms.

Any suggestions? I'd like to spend as little as possible, but might splurge for the right setup!

I've been hearing alot about RE, anything they make fit what I'm looking for? Will consider ANY brand, except Audiobahn :-)

it would really help me to know your budget...i won't recommend an SI Mag per say(~$500) if i know you don't want to spend more than $200 per sub.

either way,
check out the Stereo Integrity BM's...they look promising.:-)

Let's say no more than $400 for the pair, or a single sub that performs extremely well.

I like the way those BM's look, but I think I would want two of them and the wattage doesn't match up unless I only get one.. more suggestions?

you should consider an SI Mag then...maybe one of the reps can hook you up with a sweet price...

also...look at the Adire Brahma's Mk.4 they are supposed to be new and improved from the Mk.3's which weren't as good as the Mk.2s. lol

Focal is supposed to be one of the best for sound quality, but they are extremely expensive. I agree with the ID suggestion. Either a couple of IDQ's or IDMax's depending on how much SPL you want, plus they are way cheaper than the Mag's or Focal.

I'll second (third?) Focal subs...
Focal 27V1, 27V2, awesome subs for not that much cash.

Amps are coming soon too, should be disgustingly awesome.

How about 3 10s? I know a guy that'll sell me a brand new custom box for 3 10s (sealed) for $20 bucks cash.. It'll fit my car perfect, too. Saves me about a week of 1-2 hour nights building my own.. I just want something that'll hit and still have nice sq for not alot of money. maybe I'll try the cerwins? if i can find them in 10 or 12.. suggestions are appreciated :-)

No, don't buy three 10's... Do the right thing, AudioQue SD2.515. 1 15" will keep up with and/or take any of those subs mentioned in sq and spl. You can feed that sub 400-1200 watts and it will take it like a champ. At $175 shipped a piece, you can't go wrong. The only other sub mentioned in the same range of this is the S.I. Mag which will run you $300 more.

How about this, can someone build me a better box for my Eclipses? I want a rear firing box, right now they fire up towards the trunk lid, and they set right under the lid because my box won't side back by the seat because it's TOO BIG.

If someone can build me a box, let me know your price and ill let you know my trunk space etc.
