Ok, so my last post dissapeared... soooo... My moms getting a new company car and I may be obtaining her 06' trailblazer. I can only fit 2 18"s max... I want my system to hurt someone lol. I've been thinking of doing 2 RE MT 18's w/ 4k watts a piece but am open to any suggestions. I'm looking for max spl w/ decent sq... Looking to spend right around $3k on amps n subs.
Thanks,
Andrew

Nothing against anyone on this site... But just my personal preference, I want a sub that the website doesnt talk about home audio use. I want something too loud for a home audio set up. Just my preference. You think I could do 150's w/ the 2 18" audioques?

I'm thinkin 2 DD 9515's powered by 2 RF T20001bd's. Or 2 Treo SSx 18's on 2 kicker zx2500.1's. Will a 220 amp alt. work on both of those setups? I'll prob run a optima red top under the hood and 2 kinetik batteries...

What part of Florida are you in? I know a authorized DD dealer in GA, that could really hook you up. They have some amazing SPL products.

Idk, I might switch up those amps... I really like the RF power series amps and the same w/ kicker zx amps. If I did the S.I. Mags, I'd prob over power them way to much w/ the type of setup I'm looking for. I want to be able to compete w/ this setup, and possibly do over 150 DB as a daily driver... The 9900's are lookin pretty secksy for the overall setup I'm looking for. But its def. between the SSx, 9515, S.I. Mag's or the AQ HD3 18"s (when they make n appearance).

You really should contact Kevin@low-hz.com.

He can get you the DD's probably, and also the SI mags. The DD's will get crazy loud, and the 95's are plenty good. If you are going for pure SPL the 95's would do the trick, and the 99's would be the best if you had excessive amounts of money haha.

But the mags will get you in the 150's with a proper install, and sound better than the DD's. So it all depends what you want to do. Right now 2 mag 12's are hitting a legal 152 on a TL.

So the 15's would work well for the low to mid 150's, but the DD's of course are just crazy SPL subs.

showrides, how many watts are those mag 12's getting? I've heard the DD's have amazing sq for being known as an spl sub, although i've also heard the mags have top notch sq... I'd like to hear the mags for myself, if yall ever come down to fla. lemme know lol.

:-)

i believe the 9500's sounds AWESOME(ask JAmes Longo, he will tell you as well)...they are CRYSTAL CLEAR DISTORTION FREE ACCURATE DRIVERS despite what many people think when they hear "DD"...and seeing as they take a considerable amount more of power...i don't think it comes close.:-)
