So i been reading all these posts that you wise people write. And a lot of them speak about high output alts. So it got me to thinking do i need one... So basically my question is does anyone know where to find one for a 2000 Nissan Maxima. And how much would it cost. Thanks a million!!!!

the bigger the better. you can never have too much :-)

take the power RMS you will be running, divide that by 13.8. then add 50 more for the car. thats a good starting point for figuring out what size alt to run.

Right now i have 2 s10l7's in a ported box, powered by a sony xplod. Within the month im gonna have the same subs same box, but new amp and head unit. Im going with the KX12001.1 and the deph680MP pioneer premier. So my system in a month should be pretty darn good.
