SSI 18 new home!

B Gold Member Username: B101 Queen City, NC USA Post Number: 3536 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Sunday, September 03, 2006 - 16:51 GMT well the sub has like 5 mins of play on it! from 2 weeks ago... lol It seen a clean mojo 4kws to it @ 1ohm... in a bandpass box, in a extreme 5+ van... it did a 148 on the 1st burp I belive without further testing... lol cause we decided to run 15s... anyways this is the new home for it, its bascially the same box, I cut 2/3s of it off, and extended the port for my friends car... lol accord honda.. I must say its tuned low as sh!t! with 150sq of port!

MUDDY I love the magnets too, I guess thats why they rate it at 1k instead of 750rms on the 10-15s... It sounds GRRRRREEEAAATTT

Muddy Im finaly at a pc, lol, I have labor day weekend off.. hey just took couple more, lol, the sub isnt bolted in none of the pics, but I straightened it out, It will be firing foward in his car... the good thing about it, is that I saved this box, it would have just got thrown away in the dumpster. I rebuilt it with scrap cuts of wood... changed the port freq/length and new side pannel. not bad, and it WANGS its sealed extremely well too... very strong and heavy box! all he has to do is carpet it and paint the port area black, lol
