use 3/4 mdf for wood. i normally put liquid nials on first, then i use a skinnny drill bit for pre drilling, and then use 1 5/8" drywall (coarse thread) screws.

ya that box looks pretty good, as long as it calculated right. if i were you though, i would look at a smaller box. i am feeding my 15 treo ssi 1100rms in a 2.9 fu foot box, and that is a little over normal size for my sub.

if i were you, i would look at 2 - 2.5 cu feet like i said before. i think a good number would be 2.4 or 2.5

someone told me that you subtract the port volume from the total box volume is that true?? cuz if it is it would put the box just above 2.5 if not ill have to change some things....

it matters.

a lot of brands do do subtracting so yeah, 2.5...as long as ur port is .3 cu feet.

normally boxes are recommended like 2 cu feet + port displacement. so ya.

if you want to find out net box size, subtract ur sub displacement from 2.8 too.
