I am looking to buy one twelve that will be powered by a memphis 1000d. Which would be better for overall sq and spl, DD 2500 or Treo SSI?

well from what ive read...the SSI is an sq sub and the DD2500 can get real loud and is very clean...it can also handle 1200 clean watts rms...

if it were me i would go with the DD2500

ohh boy someone make a sticky with this please ...

in all honesty i dont like treo ... dont like their sound...

with an underrated memphis amplifier ... id say go with the 2500 ... depending on ur charging system u could get upwards of 1100 watts with that amplifier and in a good ported enclosure ... that sub will shine :-)

that is the max they recommend you go on the 2500 series on the DD forum...you must use common sense when putting that much power though.

no huge boxez...don't play below tuning very loud...and SET YOUR GAIN RIGHT!!:-)
