as some of you may know im looking to replace my POS sony sub in my bookshelf stereo, i have a .37cf box after displacement, with two 1.5inch ports tuned to 44hz, i was looking into getting either the AA 6.5mid http://www.ascendantaudio.com/poly_6.5_page.html#specs
or the DD 6.5 http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/woofers.asp?series=W6.5

i have about 75wrms to play with, i was thinking DD since they have a higher sensitivty but what do you think.

ya im sure it would work but my only concern is that the box is so small, i think i might get some pollyfill to make the box seem bigger.

they look very nice.

i bet they would still get loud with only 75wRMS.
they are definitely suited for a ported enclosure.

fvckk it, i'll go with the DD, might as well spend the extra money to get better stuff, i wonder if zac could hook me up with one for a cheaper price. im also looking into the DD 500 series subs, the 508 would work pretty good.

get the 6.5LT mid.

it is the Long Throw design...hehe

they say it can double as a potent subwoofer in applications where a conventional sub would be too large.:-):-):-)
