nice. box.

i would bring it down roughly 2 cubes though.

they don't recommend over 5 cubes for the 9500 on the DD forum....that seems a little big. lol

seriously...when you get into boxes that big with only one sub....you are coming closer and closer to playing free air. lol

your box is as big as chad's box and he has a 18" on 1000wRMS, you have a 15" on 600wRMS...no need for such a large box. lol

email Audioque to find out what they recommend.
they tested those subs in car for weeks on end...they should know! :-)

I have over 7.25 cu's in my homebuilt home theater sub using 4-10" subs. I know, totally unrelated, so don't rant, but it shakes the dishes upstairs!!!!Upload

I've got two of the eight ports fired to the rear cause I ran out of room in the front. Powered by a 500w Bash plate amp. It will rattle the bar glasses 20 feet away!

There are those out there that say you shouldn't use car audio subs in a home theater configuration. For SQ I agree. However, when you already have a dedicated 6.1 surround system in use and want some "punch" to the bass, adding this sub only blows you away in spl! Black Hawk Down is just INSANE when you feel the pressure in your chest!!!!!!!

my home audio system has 2 KLH 15"s in a 14^3ft box tuned to 28hz, downfiring.. One Pioneer reciever for just the 15"s as the slave and the master is the RCA for the components.. all of which is ran through my pc so I can also play all my mp3s :-)

sorry for the late response chad but yes.. two 15"s downfiring under the TV. That was the sub box out of my 01 silverado. It oringally had two RE SX 15"s but when I trade the truck I had one huge box and well... no entertainment center. So I transformed my sub box into an entertainment center where it now houses two KLH 15"s.. an RCA 700watt and Pioneer 500watt reciever along with an RCA 5 disc CD changer .. RCA DVD player and my RCA tv.. and of course the PS2 and old school SNES and some component speakers. I was going to make some new home audio speakers with a 1^3ft box by using 2 tweeters, a 5" midrange and a crossover, all KLH. Then I'd load in the RE 8"s I had laying around and tune the boxes to around 33-34hz. But now I'm trading them off to Marshall.. all in all.. its enough to make the siding on the side of my apartment rattle lol. Surprised the neighbors have not complained. Its probably the best home theater I've heard that was just thrown together besides the guy I know with a 65 seat theater in his house with a 97 foot screen and a bose 35.2 surround.. wish I had that money lol.
